Table runner of the month
In this class we will make a themed table runner each month which corresponds to season or holiday.
Join us on Saturday, December 13th from 10-2
pre-registration available.

Private Retreats...schedule yours soon.
You can book a private retreat by calling us at 937-479-8343 or stop by and we can get you on our calendar.
Dates are going fast so don't wait too long. 

The Sew Zone (classroom) is available to rent by the day.  It's only $10 per person per day.  We can accomodate up to 10 people.  Create your own mini retreat and enjoy a great space for you and your friends.

SNOW DAYS

As winter is drawing near and the snow is on its way there is also the chance that we may be closing due to the weather.  Please send us an e-mail or text if you can not make it. DO NOT risk driving in if you don't feel safe doing so.  Shari lives close and will test the drive into the shop and make the decision whether or not the shop will be closed.  Either Shari or Leanne will text, e-mail or call you if we are closing the shop.  The decision will be made as soon as possibe depending on the forecast.  The is absolutely no quilt worth risking an accident!  We will reschedule as soon as something becomes available.

MODA CHALLENGE IS UNDERWAY

Our challenge fabric is still available but going fast.  Join Sharing Stitches as we gather our Mighty Moda fabrics and start creating for this challenge.

We have all of the fabric you need to enter this challenge.  Stop by and pick up the official rules and fabric.

We also have a plethora of wonderfull new fabrics for you to see and feel.

New Villa Rosa patterns and 3 yd. quilt books and kits are being assembled.  We can also cut a 3 yd. quilt kit with the fabric you personally choose.

THE CHRISTMAS QUILT PANIC

Machine rental time is booked until January.  There is no way to get you in before Christmas unless someone cancels.  Please keep checking the online schedule via our website for cancellations.

Christmas deadline quilts are in the shop.  Nov. 1st was the deadline to have your quilt to us if you needed it by Christmas.  Remember, if you gave us your quilts to get finished by Christmas and it was after the deadline we will do our best but no guarantee it will be done in time for Christmas.

Rush jobs may incur an additional $75 fee.  But why so much $$ for a rush job you ask?  Either Shari or Leanne will have to give up family time, miss an event, come in before dawn or stay wicked late to complete your project. 

Reminder......NO CALL NO SHOW

In the past we reserved the right to charge a one hour fee onto your next quilt session.  Our new no call/no show fee is $56.00 which is equivalent to a 1.5 hour session and 1/2 hour of machine prep time. It's getting harder and harder to schedule time on all of our machines so if you don't show up you are denying someone an opportunity to work on their quilt.  We are very understanding about last minute emergencies!!  We consider cancellations on a case by case basis.  We are just looking for communication from you.  You can text us, e-mail us or call and leave a message.  Facebook messenger is NOT reliable so please do not use that method.

Starting January: classes and events are non-refundable.  Please contact us and see if we have a waiting list.  If we do, we will let you know, contact that person waiting and see if they are still available.  If we do not have a waiting list you are free to give your seat to a friend and work out the financial details with them.  Just let us know who is taking your place.

Early arrivals: 
We love that you want to get here and get started early BUT...please keep in mind that we have things that we need to take care of before the shop opens.  It takes us about an hour prior to opening the shop to get things ready for the day.  If you are early we may ask you to take a seat and wait or have you start loading your quilt on your own.

Facebook Messenger:
Please refrain from using messenger to contact us.  It's sketchy at best.  We do not schedule appointments via messenger and after a close call with hackers we can't always see our messages.  It may take us a few weeks to receive your message and respond.  The best way to contact us is e-mail, website contact form, text and then phone call in that order. 

Our Volunteers:
Are AWESOME!!  Leanne and Shari are training new volunteers along with helping you, our rental clients, get your quilts done.  We appreciate that you all have made it possible the we needed to get more volunteers on board.  We love that you ask questions and want to expand your knowlege.  As always we will follow your lead in how much you want to progress in learning to use our longarms.  We all learn from one another and that's what makes our hobby one of the best.  Our volunteers make it possible for Shari and Leanne to get other things done such as this newsletter, updating website, and adding inventory into the system.  All of these things take time and with our awesome volunteers being able to help you as you quilt, Shari and Leanne are able to work on other necessary behind the scenes shop stuff.  For instance, because we have Sherry G., Karen and Leanne all here today I (Shari) am able to finally work on this newsletter.

LUCEY
We are getting better and better on the Lucey Computerized Longarm.  It's actually harder for us to get time to learn than it is for us to practice what we have learned.  Something that as our volunteers become more and more confident helping you, Shari and Leanne can continue to increase our skills so that we can then get the Lucey online to schedule.
