March is National Quilting Month

March 15th is National Quilting Day!!

Come in and see all of the great deals we have in store for you.  The Leprechauns will be busy preparing for the sale so you'll have to come see us on Saturday to see what they have in store.

PHD Society

Thursday and Friday March 13 and 14 from 10am-4pm
$20 for this session

Saturday and Sunday March 15 and 16 from 10am-4pm
$20 for this session

Table runner of the month
Each month we will offer a themed table runner kit available for purchase.  Check in each month to see what we have.  We also have pillowcase kits available.  Get them while supplies last.

The Sew Zone (classroom) is available to rent by the day.  It's only $10 per person per day.  We can accomodate up to 10 people.  Stop by or send us an e-mail to check on availability.

BAD WEATHER DAYS

Winter is still here and there is the chance that we may close due to the weather.  Please send us an e-mail or text if you can not make it. DO NOT risk driving if you don't feel safe doing so.    If you have an appointment, either Shari or Leanne will text, e-mail or call you if we are closing the shop.  You can also check our website and facebook page for updates.  The decision will be made as soon as possibe depending on the forecast.  The is absolutely no quilt worth risking an accident!  We will reschedule as soon as something becomes available.

Busy Busy Busy

Machine rental time is booked well into April.  Please keep checking the online schedule via our website for cancellations if you need to get in before then.

 A wee reminder for you if we are quilting for you:  Rush jobs may incur an additional $75 fee.  Why so much $$ for a rush job you ask?  Either Shari or Leanne will have to give up family time, miss an event, come in before dawn or stay wicked late to complete your project.  

 THE ALL OHIO SHOP HOP MAGAZINE should be here in June.  Pre-orders will be available soon and we highly suggest that you pre-order as supply will be limited this year.

Visit our booth on April 25 and 26 at the Miamisburg Quilt Show.  We will have loads of kits and other great items and we will be doing some demos.  It's the perfect time to pick up a Sharing Stitches Gift Card for Mother's Day.

LUCEY 

Lucey is coming a bit further along as far as Shari and Leanne being able to get in some practice time.  We will be learning with you for awhile.  Shari is planning on training what she knows to Leanne and our volunteers in March.  Everytime she thinks she has it down another ripping session happens. 

Unlike the Innova, pattern choices are limited.  For helping us to in getting up to speed on how to use Lucey more efficiently we will offer a 10% your total invoice on the day that you are quilting on Lucey.  We suggest that you bring a quilt that is not one you are going to be picky about.  As always your backing must be 12" larger than your top.  Quilt top 70x70 = Backing 82x82. 

**When scheduling your appointment it would be helpful to know the approximate size of the quilt you are doing.  This applies to all machines.**

 LET'S TALK ABOUT....

How much we appreciate it when you allow us to introduce new people to the longarm rental adventure.  Many of you have encouraged new quilters to give the groovy boards a try.  We can tell people over and over how easy it is but when they hear it from you personally it really encourages others to give it try.  You are kind and generous when people ask you questions.  We realize that you are paying for time to use the machines and have the room for yourself and/or friends.  We also love that as we continue to get more and more busy that you are jumping right in and lending a hand.  From cutting fabric to giving tours.  You are also kind when we have the dreaded thread or machine issues.  Which is frustrating for all of us to say the least.
When you are coming in to look around, shop, ask questions, pick out thread, your next quilting pattern or general help we ask for your patience.  Those paying for longarm time may need us and we need to attend to them.  As you know, time is money.  If you want to preview threads and look at patterns or boards we will find a spot for you to do so.  Please ask us where the best place for you to lay out your quilt is so that you can take your time in choosing what you like.  Even better is if you have your next project with you and we can help you during your current session.

Hands down we have the most amazing, fun and friendly people in our shop everyday.
