Private Retreats are becoming popular! 
You can book a private retreat by calling us at 937-479-8343 or stop by and we can get you on our calendar.
Dates are going fast so don't wait too long. 

The Sew Zone (classroom) is available to rent by the day.  It's only $10 per person per day.  We can accomodate up to 10 people.  Create your own mini retreat and enjoy a great space for you and your friends.

Buurrr..It's that time where snow and bad weather conditions may close the shop.  Shari and Leanne will let you know via e-mail or text if you are scheduled to come in that we are closed due to weather conditions.  IF we are not closed and you feel unsafe driving please stay home.  No quilt is worth a car accident or you being on pins and needles driving to make your appointment.  We only ask that you communicate with us via e-mail or text.  We will reschedule your appointment.

Christmas Quilts Update:  We are currently hammering away at the rack full of quilts that need to be done before Christmas and are continually receiving more every week. We are super focused on Christmas quilts and often have both Innova Computerized machines running at the same time.  Our cut off, you will have it by Christmas was in October.   At this point in time we are not guaranteeing that if you drop off a quilt for Christmas that it will be done in time.

Rush jobs may incur an additional $75 fee.  But why so much $$ for a rush job you ask?  Either Shari or Leanne will have to give up family time, miss an event, come in before dawn or stay wicked late to complete your project.  

 A brief reminder about your scheduled appointment.

Please keep your own appointment or cancel it.  You can not exchange your time with a friend.  With almost 600 clients that rent our machines we have many who are waiting desperately for cancellations and a chance to jump in on the opening. This has been our policy for the few years.  We are getting stricter on this policy as our business continues to grow.

**When scheduling your appointment it would be helpful to know the approximate size of the quilt you are doing.  This applies to all machines.**

LATE ARRIVALS AND NO CALL NO SHOW POLICY REMINDER

If you are running late please call us, text us or e-mail us.  We will only hold your spot for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes with no communication we will consider you a no call/no show.   Our no call/no show fee is $56.00 which is equivalent to a 1.5 hour session and 1/2 hour of machine prep time and will be applied to your next quilting session.  If you have been a habitual no call/no show we will immediately cancel your appointment and require a pre-paid deposit of $56.00.  It's getting harder and harder to schedule time on all of our machines so if you don't show up you are denying someone an opportunity to work on their quilt.  We are very understanding about last minute emergencies!!  We consider cancelations on a case by case basis.  We are just looking for communication from you.  You can text us, e-mail us or call and leave a message.  Facebook messenger is NOT reliable, so please DO NOT use it. We are super busy (hurray!!) and do not have time to track you down, it is your responsibility to contact us.

We are booked into February 2026.  Our calendar goes out 90 days.  We have people stalking (lol) our online schedule waiting for cancelations.  We ask that you cancel 48 hours in advance so that others can jump in on your appointment time.  Our volunteers usually have a quilt top ready and waiting for those last minute emergency cancelations so please communicate with us even if it's at the last minute.

TIME WARP:  Sometimes we can come early and sometimes we can stay late but please note that we have things to accomplish before opening the shop at 10am and we have obligations after the shop closes at 4pm.  Throughout the day we are running from room to room helping those who are paying for rental time.  EVERYONE who comes to the shop is very important to us.  We love your patience and consideration as we are helping others.  Something to note as you come to the shop are our Longarm Machine Renters. (because time is money) Those who are renting are going to be assisted as soon as we possibly can.  The more you know the faster you will go because you won't have to wait for our help.  Dropping off quilts is awesome and welcome.  Some people drop off and say 'do whatever I trust you' and some people like to pick everything.  We will buzz around to and fro as we grab pattern books, threads, etc. to get you taken care of as soon as possible but may be inturrupted by our rental clients needing assistance.  Cutting fabric can take place in both suites at times when there is more than one person needing fabric.  We want to make sure you know that we understand that waiting for your one yard of fabric while the person ahead of you has 10 different fabrics that need to be cut is on our radar.  Feel free to ask someone 'hey, can you cut this for me next door?' and we will accommodate.  Need help with a project? We love to help you although it may take a bit of time because again we are also helping in other rooms, cutting fabric, giving tours, etc.  Coming in for a preview/tour? (checking out the shop and what we have to offer)  We love it when new people come to visit.  We will give you a tour and answer your questions.  Honestly our best tour guides can be our clients.  We can tell you how easy it is to rent, tell you how much fun our sew-ins are and that's awsome but when our clients jump in and share their experiences, well, it takes information gathering to another level.   Phone calls are answered if we are not busy with people in the shop.  If you are calling please leave a message and someone will get back with you.  Need to reach us after hours?  E-mail is the way to go.  With both Shari and Leanne randomly checking e-mails throughout the times the shop is closed you will more likely hear back from us sooner.  Because yes, we do check our e-mails on our days off but texts and verbal messages on the phone will not be gotten to until we are actually in the shop.
